AIRDOME – FULL POWER LESS SPACE

The AirDome is the next step in the evolution of our air filtration systems – designed for industrial workplaces where traditional extraction systems don't work well.

Whether it’s large workpieces, flexible welding positions, or hard-to-reach areas. The AirDome keeps the air clean everywhere – even where other systems fail.

The AirDome combines extremely high suction power, small footprint, and 360° air outlet. It also includes smart features such as automatic filter cleaning, integrated spark pre-separation, and contamination-free dust removal.

Maximum suction power

With up to 20.000 m³/h, the AirDome sets new standards. This equals the volume of 24.000 balloons every minute.

Plan Your AirDome Setup: How to Calculate the Right Number

The number of AirDomes you need can be calculated based on the specific conditions of your production hall. Three main factors are important:

  • Floor area and ceiling height (gives the total air volume),

  • the level of smoke or dust in the air and

  • the required number of air changes per hour

With this information, you can calculate the total air volume that needs to be filtered per hour – and determine how many AirDomes are needed.

 

Here is an example calculation:

 

Metalworking facility with medium to high smoke/dust levels

(e.g. from welding and grinding)

  • Workshop size: 45 m × 80 m = 3.600 m²

  • x Ceiling height: 4 m = 14.400 m³ total air volume

  • x Air change rate: 4-times = 57.600 m³/h required airflow

  • /Air volume per AirDome: 20.000 m³/h = 2,88 Systems

➡️ You will need 3 AirDomes to clean the air in this hall effectively.

What's the displacement ventilation principle?

The displacement ventilation principle is a highly effective method for ventilating production halls. It is based on a controlled top-to-bottom airflow. Polluted air is reliably extracted, filtered, and gently returned to the working area:

  1. Reliable Extraction:
    Contaminated air is drawn in at the upper hall level by high-efficiency EC fans.

  2. Multi-Stage Filtration:
    Sparks are pre-separated by deflector plates. The air then passes through a multi-stage filtration system for thorough cleaning.

  3. Controlled 360° Air Reintroduction:
    Clean air is returned evenly and without drafts at floor level – in a full 360° pattern.

💡 Good to know: This ventilation principle is officially recommended by the German Social Accident Insurance (BG), as it ensures high air quality throughout the workspace and protects employees.
